Why does Europe need a new textile system?
Europe generates over 1.24 million tonnes of non-rewearable textiles every year, most of which are landfilled or incinerated. Current recycling solutions are limited by poor sorting accuracy, lack of traceability, and contamination of post-consumer textile waste.
